A few weeks ago, the school Joe works at had a "Meet the Team" night on their football field. It was set up as a way for the community to join together and get to know the athletes playing fall sports as well as their families and other members of the school district.
Joe is a well known person in the community he works for and really loves what he does and enjoys being as involved as possible. He really wanted Rocco and I to join him to support the athletes and the community. Rocco is obsessed with "dada" and wants to do whatever he is doing at all times.
They had a great turnout, perfect weather, and lots of fun stuff for the kids to do. Rocco loves anything to do with being outside, so this was right up his alley!
He would have ran up and down the stairs of the bleachers all night if we let him!
He loved carrying the "ba-ball" (football) around and especially loved when the football players would throw it to him.
He tried his first snow cone which was a big hit!
We are looking forward to making it out to the high school a few Friday nights this year to watch the games.
